The Public Safety Millage is a dedicated source of funding that supports maintaining personnel and support costs of the Livonia Police Department and Livonia Fire & Rescue.

For only public safety services and support costs, shall the Livonia City Charter be amended to renew the levy and collect annually commencing December 1, 2026, for ten-year period, a tax not exceeding 1. 7 mills providing revenues only for police and fire personnel and support costs? Estimated revenue from 1.7 of 1 mill would be approximately $9,891,439 when levied on December 1, 2026.

The Senior Services and Cultural Millage is a dedicated source of funding that supports Greenmead Historical Park and the Livonia Senior Wellness Center.

“To maintain cultural and senior services including the Livonia Senior Wellness Center and Greenmead Historical Village, shall the Livonia City Charter be amended for authority to renew the levy and collect annually commencing December 1, 2026, for a ten-year period, a tax not exceeding 0.25 mill providing revenues only for staff, maintenance, and support costs? Estimated revenue from 0.25 mill would be approximately $1,454,263 when first levied in December 2026.”

This renewal is not a tax increase.
